How to report an issue

Send the page URL, the statement at issue and supporting context through our Contact page. Rights and attribution issues may also use the Editorial and Rights Desk.

What happens next

The editorial team reviews the claim and the evidence available. A confirmed substantive error is corrected. When a change materially alters the reader's understanding, the page may include an update note describing the change and date.

Spelling, grammar, broken-link and presentation fixes normally do not require a public correction note. A page's modification date changes only after meaningful editorial work, not as a freshness signal.
