Fact-Checking Policy

Before publication, important factual claims should be checked against sources appropriate to the subject.

For breed history, standards and recognized traits, prefer kennel clubs, parent clubs and authoritative breed organizations. For health, genetics and longevity, prefer veterinary research, veterinary institutions and breed-health databases. For military or working-dog roles, prefer official agencies whenever available. Product specifications should be checked against current manufacturer documentation and independent evidence where possible.

Exact numbers such as lifespan, height, weight, speed, battery life or price should not be presented with false precision when reliable sources vary.

When evidence is mixed, the article should say so.
